Section of the Swimming Pool
The swimming pool section operates and administers the indoor swimming pool, including the premises of the summer outdoor swimming pool on Sokolský Island
The swimming pool provides comprehensive services for visitors of these facilities:

Section of the Ice-hockey Stadium –the ‘Budvar Arena’
The ice-hockey stadium section provides services for sports activities focused on ice-skating –i.e. ice-hockey and figure skating at all performance levels, including recreational sports activities and unorganised skating.
Ice areas can also be used for curling competitions. When mobile floors are installed, both roofed halls can be used for concerts and exhibitions, ball games, inline skating etc.
Basic technical data:
On the premises of the Budvar Arena there are two separate roofed halls with ice skating rinks and the necessary changing-rooms and sanitary facilities, a restaurant and refreshment spots. The premises feature wheelchair access and a car park.
The premises are situated 500 m from the historic centre of České Budějovice
Dimensions of the ice-skating rinks: Hall no.1- 28 x 58 m, Hall no.2- 30 x 60 m.
The normal capacity of the facility for sports matches:
hall no.1- 6500 people, hall no.2- 200 people

Hall no. I: Mon. – Sun. from 5.45 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Hall no.. II: Mon. – Sun. from 5.45 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Section of the Sports Hall
The Sports Hall Section provides services connected with the utilisation of the sports hall for the sporting activities of sports associations, clubs, schools, groups and individuals. The background area of the facility features 10 changing rooms, including complete sanitary facilities and a massage room / first-aid room.
Basic technical data
- a hall for ball games measuring 28 x 48m, floorboards (used for volleyball, handball, basketball, hall football, tennis and field hockey)
- an athletics corridor and a muscle-conditioning gym, a Japex floor, 4 tracks, 60 metres, long jump facility, muscle-conditioning gym on the level of a Fitness Centre. Total area: 800 m2
- a table tennis room with four tables
- a hall with terracing with a capacity of 2500 sitting spectators, of which 1500 chairs are at the level of the hall and 1100 seats are on terraces. Can also be used for cultural and social events
- a restaurant in the building

Mon. – Sun. 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Based on prior agreement, the facility can be used outside of opening hours. Discounts are possible in off-peak hours.
